Sophie Solomon
Sophie Solomon's voice is her violin. She is widely regarded as the leading klezmer violinist of her generation. A founder member of groundbreaking fusionists Oi Va Voi, she went on to launch a successful solo career with Decca Records where she collaborated with KT Tunstall, Ludovico Einaudi, Richard Hawley and Ralph Fiennes. She has performing her own compositions as a soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra and has her unique violin sound to the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Paul Weller.
Sophie is also Artistic Director of the Jewish Music Institute.
Sophie's eagerly anticipated new album Stop the Parade will be released later this year.

Sophie Solomon's eagerly anticipated new album is soon to be released. Produced by Marius de Vries and mixed by Jon Kelly, with tracks including Barbed Wire Love Song, Microscope Man and Moscow Au Revoir, the disc tells the story of a faded world of satellite states, doctored photographs and long-lost lovers who will never meet again.
